The Priming Manual is intended for parents and educators to help a child with a disability who is included in a regular education classroom to acquire new academic material with more ease and thus also to help reduce disruptive behavior.
These training manuals from the Koegel Autism Center at the University of California at Santa Barbara cover a wide range of behavioral strategies, including pivotal response treatment, priming, understanding problem behaviors, self-management, parent-professional collaboration, and toilet training. They have been disseminated to parents and professionals across the country.
